The 1032 rackmount pair brings four-band mic/line preamps into a Class A, transformer-coupled design. Its equalizer is based on the frequency approach of the classic 1081, adding a passive inductor high-pass filter and overlapping low-mid/high-mid ranges for more options when addressing problem frequencies. A high-frequency shelf reaching 24kHz is intended for extended high-frequency correction without compromising the midrange. Modular cards support long-term serviceability.
