Description

The DL16 moves 16 Midas Pro microphone preamps onto the stage, carrying 24-bit digital audio and control data over AES50 on a single shielded CAT5 cable. That gives front-of-house and monitor positions a cleaner stage-to-console connection than a heavy analog snake. Its dual AES50 ports allow up to three DL16 units to be daisy-chained for 48 inputs and 24 outputs. Ultranet supports personal-monitor routing, and ADAT provides a 16-channel path to an external recorder.
