Peavey’s IPR2 2000 is a two-channel power amplifier using a resonant switch-mode supply and high-speed Class D topology. Protection circuitry addresses demanding loads and power conditions, while DDT is intended to protect drivers and retain sonic integrity during extreme overload. The amp is specified for operation into loads as low as 2 ohms, with channel output ratings provided for 2-, 4-, and 8-ohm loads.
