NUVO N8 is an active, bidirectional ribbon microphone built around AEA’s Big Ribbon technology. Its far-field design is optimized from 12 inches onward, where it captures room character and performance detail for drum overheads, string ensembles, and orchestral recording. With a 20 Hz–20 kHz response and 141 dB maximum SPL, it also handles close work on guitar and bass cabinets. A compact black body, XLR connection, supplied shockmount and clip, and storage/shipping case support studio placement and stage use.
