AKG’s P820 Tube is a multi-pattern tube microphone built around a dual one-inch diaphragm capsule and ECC83 dual-triode circuitry. It is presented for lead vocals, brass, electric guitar, and drums, with cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-eight polar-pattern options. A 20 dB pad and bass-cut filter add control around demanding sources, with the filter selected from the remote control unit. The included power supply and balanced XLR connection make it a complete microphone-and-power setup for the stated applications.
