Description

The Royal Albert Hall WIIO is a guitar overdrive with a three-control Hiwatt-derived tone circuit. Its Mid, Bass, and Treble controls are interactive, so shaping the sound is a matter of working the Mid and Bass together rather than treating each knob independently. Treble adds bite, with a more pronounced effect when the mids are scooped and bass is raised. The pedal is deliberately uncompressed and responsive to picking hand and guitar-volume changes; use it continuously into a clean-ish tube amplifier or switch it in as a gain channel.
