EMG’s 57/66 set combines a bridge-voiced 57 with a neck-voiced 66, both finished with brushed metal caps. The 57 uses Alnico V magnets and steel pole pieces for a PAF-like quality, with active headroom and punch aimed at definition and presence. The 66 pairs Alnico V magnets with ceramic pole pieces, bringing warm, smooth midrange and expansive lows while retaining clarity higher up the register. Together, the set assigns distinct roles to bridge and neck positions.
