For a 24-inch bass drum, the clear EMAD Heavyweight is a double-ply batter head made from two 10-mil films. Its external damping system gives you two ways to shape the response: a thinner ring for more resonance and punch, or a wider ring for added low end with less sustain. Because the rings are changed from outside the drum, you can refine attack and focus without opening it up. Level 360 construction supports straightforward seating and tuning.
