Remo’s 18-inch Vintage Ambassador is a coated batter head based on the original 1957 Weatherking Ambassador. Its 7.5-mil and 3-mil construction is intended to stand up to live work, studio sessions, and touring. The result aims for a warmer, fuller, more controlled response than modern coated Ambassadors, with a tonal position between Remo’s coated Ambassador and coated Emperor models. It can be used as a batter head on snares and toms.
