Nazgul is an active-mount, soapbar-style bridge pickup for 8-string guitars, built around a large ceramic magnet and an aggressive high-gain voice. It is aimed at down-tuned chugging, with a slightly stronger midrange focus to bring definition to B and F strings. The result is a forceful attack without giving up fluid, articulate note movement when gain is pushed. Exposed adjustable pole pieces complete the format. For a matched neck position, it is designed to work with the Sentient neck pickup.
