From the Character series from Tech 21, the Sansamp Blonde delivers classic F*NDER style tones with active 3-band EQ, volume and gain controls with the addition of the eponymous ‘Character’ knob which positions a pregain mid range before the distortion in the circuit, mimicking classic F-style amps. 1 to 12 goes from Blackface, Silverface, Blonde at the centre, Tweed & then Neil Young-style ‘Exploding Amp’ territory.
