Expanding their Volt USB Recording Studio framework into a pro-level rackmount USB-C audio interface, the Universal Audio Volt 876 melds legendary studio tone with ample I/O and cutting-edge 32-bit/192kHz AD/DA. This stellar unit houses eight digitally controlled mic preamps, bolstered by assistive Auto-Gain to ensure proper levels in every recording scenario. Moreover, each preamp includes UA’s exclusive Vintage Preamp Mode and a FET-fueled 76 Compressor, providing you with unrivaled tone-shaping power — no outboard gear required. The Volt 876 features 16 channels of ADAT I/O, allowing you to link up to three interfaces for a 24-channel system or simply employ it as a standalone expander. Beyond that, eight analog outputs and two headphone outputs make monitoring a snap, plus you get cue mixing, remote control, alt monitoring, and more using the UAD Console app. Moreover, you get an onboard talkback microphone for seamless studio communication, switchable Hi-Z inputs for streamlined DI recording, MIDI I/O for your synths and controllers, and per-channel 48-volt phantom power for condenser mics. Additionally, the Volt 876 includes UA’s AI-powered LUNA DAW and a premium bundle of UAD plug-ins and instruments.
