Syntax is an extension of Wampler founder Brian Wampler’s mission to utilize modern technologies that allow us to maximize the multidirectional creative possibilities of the contemporary guitar-playing landscape. Despite what you might assume from its small-footprint form factor, this micro pedal packs a punch that hits infinitely above its weight, thanks to its dynamic array of multifunction MIDI, tap, and latching controls. Each side of its dual-lane architecture is independently adjustable for the function it serves, with a 3-way slider letting you choose from its three methods of control. What’s more, the 3.5-millimeter TRS MIDI in, MIDI out, and External out make Syntax a deceptively diverse switcher, augmenting everything from studio setups to stage-blazing pedalboards to multitudes of MIDI environments. What you control is, quite literally, up to you, and Syntax is your tool to speak your sound the way you’ve always meant it to be heard.
