For a 12 x 8 in. mounted tom in Cranberry Red, this Stage Custom Birch model focuses its construction on shell consistency and vibration. Its thin shell uses a staggered diagonal seam intended to hold its round shape, and Yamaha’s Air Seal System is used for even shell thickness and roundness. Low-mass lugs allow the shell to vibrate for tone and sustain. The Cranberry Red exterior is finished in high-gloss lacquer.
