This is a 2022 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco. Widely acclaimed as one of 2002’s best albums, it appeared on year-end lists from Mojo, NME, Q, Rolling Stone, and Uncut, and was also featured in multiple decade-end lists, including Rolling Stone’s 3 Album of the 2000s and various Greatest Albums of All Time lists. The album was inspired in part by The Conet Project: Recordings of Shortwave Numbers Stations, which captivated Jeff Tweedy and influenced the thematic elements of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. The album’s title is derived from a haunting recording in The Conet Project, which is sampled in the penultimate song, “Poor Places.”
